Form II Trip to Cadbury World
Form II visited Cadbury World where they enjoyed a tour around the factory and learnt how chocolate is made.
The trip coincided with the children’s Humanities topic, Rainforests, as well as their English text, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. During an educational talk they learnt all about cocoa beans and how they originated in the rainforest. There was also time for a trip to the 4D cinema as well as an exhibition with interactive screens, rides in Cadabra cars and a quick visit the shop where everyone bought lots of edible treats!
It was a fascinating day and particularly interesting to learn about the history of the Cadbury story.
