Learning Support

We are committed to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. Our Learning Support Department provides tailored, one-to-one support for children who need a little extra help, fostering confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

We have high aspirations and expectations for all pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), focusing on achievable outcomes that equip them with the skills they need for future learning and life beyond Ashfold.

Our approach is proactive and collaborative:

• Early Identification – Staff work closely together to identify children with additional needs as early as possible, ensuring the right support is in place from the start.
• Personalised Learning – Every child receives an individual support plan, carefully tailored to their needs and strengths.
• Close Partnerships – Our specialist teachers work in partnership with class teachers and parents, ensuring that each child receives consistent and effective support.

We believe that with the right support, encouragement, and adaptations, every child can flourish and develop confidence in their learning. Our Learning Support Department is dedicated to helping pupils overcome challenges, celebrate progress, and unlock their potential.
