Children at Ashfold have the opportunity to take part in .22 rifle shooting as part of our co-curricular activities programme during the Autumn and Spring Terms. This exciting and disciplined sport is open to all pupils, with no prior experience required.

Expert Training & Facilities

• Coached by qualified shooting instructors
• Two-lane indoor range on-site, allowing for .22 shooting at 25 yards
• Marksmanship Certificates awarded by the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS)

Shooting is a highly popular activity among both boys and girls, helping pupils develop focus, patience, and precision in a safe and controlled environment. Whether trying the sport for the first time or honing their skills, all children are encouraged to take part and progress at their own pace.
