Achievements
We are delighted to celebrate each and every child's achievements at Ashfold - and there are plenty!
Here are a few of the highlights from the last 12 months:
- 100% of Form 6 children were successful in Common Entrance
- 40% of pupils won scholarships to their chosen Senior Schools
- Bertie and Josh won silver in the hurdles and Eva came 4th in the 100m at the IAPS National Athletics Championships
- Bertie came 7th at the England Athletics Finals in the U15 60m Hurdles and is the 9th quickest boy in the country - and he's still only U14!
- Henry and Alexander won gold in the U11 IAPS Schools Shooting competition
- Forms 4 and 5 staged a spectacular production of 'Peter Pan' to great acclaim
- Form 6 performed a stunning production of 'A Christmas Carol'
- Our younger years performed Nativity productions last Christmas for parents - not a dry eye in the house!
- Ashfold's Spring Concert was truly magical and an absolute treat for us all to enjoy, along with all our smaller concerts and House Music finals throughout the year
- U11 boys qualified for the IAPS National Hockey Finals
- 1st VII hockey team won the Stowe U13 Hockey Tournament
- Lola won the NSEA National Show Jumping Championships at Hickstead and our equestrian team riders won numerous other competitions
- Elizabeth won the Bucks County U10 girls' tennis tournament and other tennis tournaments
- Sam was selected to play for the ISFA U13 South Central Football Team
- Forms 1-6 were thrilled to meet International Hockey Player, Rupert Shipperley for a Hockey Masterclass
- The world's leading sports photographer, David Cannon inspired the children at our Creedo lecture
- The children raised amazing amounts of money for three charities; Just one Tree (£135), SeeSaw Oxfordshire (£500) and Oscar Foundation (£9000).
- Ashfold became the first Prep School in the UK to achieve Digital Schoolhouse status for our Computing provision and our Head of Computing won the Innovation Award
