Charity Update - Marula School

Last year Ashfold raised almost £4,000 for Marula School in Zimbabwe. Ashfold Governor, Addy Henderson, has just returned from visiting Marula School and sent this message:

I am delighted to report that the amazing sum of money raised by Ashfold last year has made it possible to purchase six water storage tanks (pictured below) for Marula School.

The tanks are now being installed and will mean that the school will have clean water for drinking, preparing school meals, washing boarders’ clothes and collecting rainwater for growing crops. This will make a life-changing difference to Marula.

The staff and children were overwhelmingly grateful during our visit and wanted me to convey their thanks and good wishes to everyone at Ashfold.
