Piano Day at Stowe

A group of 6 of our talented pianists visited Stowe School to take part in a Prep Schools’ Piano Day led by Ben Andrew, Head of Keyboards at Stowe.

Ben had kindly visited Ashfold earlier in the term to introduce the children to the music we would be playing at the event.

The Piano Day included a demonstration of a new app which makes scales fun (!), an organ recital by Old Ashfoldian and Stowe Music Scholar, Lewis Bell, and a tour of the Music Department. It culminated in a wonderful concert by all the children.
