Marlborough Music Day
A group of four children from Forms IV and V visited Marlborough College for a Music Day packed with activity.
Molly S (Form V) was chosen to lead the orchestra which was made up of children from 22 other prep schools, with Jessica T (Form IV) leading second violins. In the brass and percussion groups, Maria H (Form V) had fun walking in a jazz-inspired walking band, and Oliver W (Form V) experienced playing the marimba for the first time.
All the children sang an excerpt from Faure's requiem and enjoyed music masterclasses led by the teachers and pupils at Marlborough.
Thank you to Marlborough for a fantastic day which we hope to repeat next year.
