Pre-Prep III Trip to Ashmolean Museum

Pre-Prep III enjoyed a wonderful day at the Ashmolean Museum as part of their topic on famous people.

In the morning, the children enjoyed a guided tour and were introduced to many paintings and sculptures. They learned about a number of famous people including Mr Ashmole, the founder of the Museum. In the afternoon, the children had the chance to explore the different levels and many galleries in small groups. The children found the mummies and the weapons, including axes and cross bows, fascinating. The children behaved exceptionally well and we received many positive comments from visitors and the tour guide about how sensible they were. Well done, Pre-Prep III!
