Admissions Process

Our admissions process is designed to be welcoming, and from your initial enquiry to your child's first day, we are here to guide you through each stage.

Request a Prospectus

We recommend requesting a prospectus and exploring our website for an overview of life at Ashfold. Our prospectus pack includes a Registration Form to help you take the next step.

Visit us

The best way to experience Ashfold is to see it for yourself. We warmly invite you to attend an Open Morning or arrange a private visit at any time for an informal tour and a meeting with the Headmaster.

Register

If you wish to register your child, please complete a Registration Form and return it to the Registrar with the non-refundable Registration Fee of £120. On receipt, we will allocate your child a provisional place on our list. Early registration is advised.

Assessment Day

Two terms before entry, the Registrar will contact you to arrange an assessment day. This visit is an opportunity for us to ensure that Ashfold is the right fit for your child and for them to experience a day in school. They will spend time with their chronological year group and take part in age-appropriate assessments. No specific preparation is required.

Offer and Acceptance of a Place

Following the assessment day, we will notify you of the outcome. If an offer is made, you will receive a Parent Contract, including an Acceptance Form and our Terms and Conditions. To secure your child’s place, the completed Acceptance Form and a £500 Acceptance Deposit should be returned to the Registrar within two weeks. Once received, we will confirm your child’s guaranteed place at Ashfold.
