Outreach Programme & Venue Hire

At Ashfold, we are proud to serve the local community, not only by providing an excellent education for children from surrounding towns and villages, but also by opening our doors to local groups, charities and organisations.

Our historic 16th-century mansion, Dorton House and the surrounding estate are used in a variety of ways. Residents of Dorton enjoy access to our leisure facilities, including the swimming pool and tennis courts during the summer months, while our sports grounds and facilities are regularly used for local sports camps, fixtures, and community events.

As a school, we are committed to giving back. Each year, our pupils take part in numerous charitable fundraising activities for organisations both at home and abroad. We also contribute annually to the upkeep of St John the Baptist Church, which is located within our grounds.

Ashfold has a range of outstanding facilities available for hire, including:

• Extensive playing fields with rugby, football, and cricket pitches
• A full-sized astroturf for hockey
• Netball and tennis courts
• A heated outdoor swimming pool
• A Sports Hall
• Our Art & Design Centre
