Catering Assistant

12.00pm - 4.30pm Monday - Friday (term-time only)

The Post

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our efficient and friendly catering team to assist in the delivery of a high-quality catering service for the pupils, staff, boarders, parents and wider needs of the school. 

The successful candidate will have basic numeracy and literacy skills and ideally have experience in working within a kitchen/service setting. Friendly, approachable and a team player, they will be able to build outstanding relations with children, staff and the wider school community.

The School

Ashfold is a leading prep school which has recently joined The Stowe Group. The School, with approximately 280 boys and girls aged 3-13 years, is set in 30 acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of the village of Dorton in the Buckinghamshire countryside, close to Thame.

Alongside an excellent all-round education, we pride ourselves in offering children a wealth of opportunities to participate in sports, the arts, drama and music as well as a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. The school week runs from Monday – Friday and we offer optional boarding up to four nights a week, as well as a rich and varied extra-curricular programme.
