Our Pastoral Care

The happiness, wellbeing, and safety of every child are at the heart of everything we do. Pastoral care is a shared responsibility, with all staff working together to develop a supportive, nurturing environment where children feel valued, confident, and able to make the most of the opportunities on offer.

Form Tutors

Our Form Tutors play a key role in pastoral care, providing both academic and emotional support.

Form Tutors:

  • Meet with pupils each morning at Registration and throughout the day
  • Encourage children to develop confidence, resilience, and responsibility
  • Help pupils understand right from wrong and maintain positive relationships

We encourage parents to speak with Form Tutors first regarding any concerns, ensuring a close and open partnership between home and school.

Medical Care & Wellbeing

Our School Surgery, open from 8.00am daily, is staffed by Matron, a qualified and experienced nurse, along with an Assistant Matron. They provide expert care to pupils throughout the day and are always available to offer medical advice and support.

Parents are welcome to contact Matron with any medical concerns by emailing Matron.
