The Post

Ashfold School is seeking to appoint for a Gap Assistant position.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic boarding and wider school team that aims to deliver a broad and creative curriculum to our pupils. They will live in the boarding house and assist the Head of Boarding and teaching staff supervise children and associated activities in and around the School.

Ashfold offers an excellent all-round education and a wealth of opportunities to excel both in the classroom and beyond. We encourage and celebrate participation in sport and the arts, including art and design technology, drama and music as well as a wide variety of extra-curricular activities enabling every child to develop their individual strengths, talents and interests and discover new ones.

The School

Ashfold is an established co-educational Preparatory School for around 280 children aged 3 - 13+ set in a beautiful Jacobean mansion with its own thirty- acre estate in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside just twenty minutes from Oxford, Thame and Aylesbury.

The school has expanded significantly over the last fifteen years and invested heavily in its infrastructure and support systems. We aim to give every child the firmest possible grounding in the core academic subjects, within a small caring family community where children both know each other and all of the staff.
