Flavour of Folk Music Day

Our new chamber choir, Schola Cantorum, joined with more than 200 local prep school children to sing a specially arranged book of folk songs for the Oakham School Flavour of Folk Music Day.

During the day, which was led by Director of Music at Oakham, Peter Davis, the children were treated to performances by the Oakham Sixth Form including a fantastic rendition of What shall we do with the drunken sailor? Other highlights included the delicious homemade chocolate muffins provided during the breaks!
