Pre-Prep II Trip to The Green Dragon Eco Farm

Pre-Prep II enjoyed a wonderful day at The Green Dragon Eco Farm as part of their study of farms and animals.

Accompanied by the Education Officer, Hannah, the children visited the paddocks to see the cattle and sheep. They particularly enjoyed feeding the goats including the greedy Anglo Nubians who jumped up to be fed. One of them was called Barbara!

There were also Pygmy goats, beautiful Portland and Dorset sheep, lots of noisy lambs, chickens, Shetland ponies, Gloucester Old Spots and cute piglets.

In the Pet’s Corner, the children saw harvest mice and stroked rabbits and guinea pigs.
