Beachborough Duathlon

Ashfold triathletes have been training hard over the last few weeks for the first event of the triathlon season, the duathlon at Beachborough School which took place on Sunday 14 May.

Our team of 20 competitors coped brilliantly with the challenges of the Run Bike Run event. It was great to see so many who were new to the sport as well as those who had competed in previous events.

Our Ashfold trisuits looked so professional and our thanks go to Ashfold parent and triathlete, Mrs Anna Taylor, for organizing and distributing these before the race.

We had several top 10 finishes and are awaiting the official results to find out where we are in the schools table.  The next event is the triathlon at Stowe School on Sunday 18 June.

All our competitors should feel very proud of their achievements.
