Scholars' Club News

The Scholars’ Club enjoyed a presentation by Wing Commander Niki Stacey about the many roles of the Royal Air Force.

With her 27 years' service, Wing Commander Stacey was able to tell members of the Scholars’ Club all about the various aircraft used by the RAF. She also described some of the many behind the scenes jobs that are just as vital as piloting a Chinook or Globemaster. The children heard all about what it is like to be on guard during a firefight in Helmand Province, which sounded quite scary, to say the least.

The children impressed Wing Commander Stacey with a huge array of questions which she enjoyed answering.
