Sports Report - Week 3

Despite the snow, ice and freezing conditions this week, we were pleased to get outside and play some matches. While all the boys’ hockey and the Senior and Middle girls’ netball fixtures were cancelled, the football fixtures and the U9 netball fixtures against Akeley Wood and Swanbourne went ahead with some great performances across the board.

The U9 netballers started their season with a bang beating Akeley Wood and Swanbourne, while the U9 footballers had a slightly tougher day at the office but never gave up trying. The U9Cs were rewarded for all their hard work with a 4-0 win in one of their matches.

The Colts footballers travelled to Swanbourne to brave the elements and both the Colts A and Colts C teams returned home victorious after dominating displays in their matches.

Next week, the action continues with football and netball matches for all teams from U8 to U13 so fingers crossed for better weather!
