Boarders play Extreme Rounders
One of the highlights of the last week was a game of Extreme Rounders, which saw boarders hitting the ball with a cricket bat, swinging on ropes, clambering through the climbing frame, jumping over boxes and dunking the ball in the net to score a rounder! Challenging, highly competitive and great fun!
There was more competition in the Boarders’ Common Room too with boys and girls competing on the Xbox. Once again, the girls gave the boys a run for their money on FIFA.
Our evening activities programme continues apace this term with indoor football, robotics and one of my favourites, Cookery Club. This week’s mini blueberry muffins were simply mouth-watering.
The mayhem of our Mystery Madness activity has risen to new heights with 24 children running around the Mansion trying to evade capture, screaming and shouting when caught (or not in some cases!). Definitely not for the faint hearted!
Thank you to all the children for another wonderful half term of boarding. I hope you all have a relaxing break and come back ready for what promises to be an exciting second half.
