Sports Report - Week 12

With three rugby tournaments for different age groups falling on the same day and U9/U8 rugby and hockey fixtures v The Grove, it was a busy and exciting week of sport.

The U13 boys headed over to Pinewood School for a Rugby 7s Tournament where they performed admirably against much bigger schools. The U12s played in the St Edward’s Tournament giving it absolutely everything AND they were lucky enough to meet some professional Rugby players from Wasps RFC. Meanwhile, the U10s attended the inaugural Radley College Tournament where they played with great resilience and character. At home, our U9 boys also got stuck in against the Grove, despite the freezing cold.

The Senior A and B girls had a double header against Bloxham and Akeley Wood; both teams performed exceptionally well, conceding no matches. Our U8 girls continued their hockey development in their competitive matches against The Grove.

In gymnastics, our U11 and U10 squads also found the time to prepare for the forthcoming National IAPS Championships with a warm-up competition at St Helen and St Katharine School.

A huge thank you to parents, coaches and teachers for their continued support on and off the sports field!
