Maths Masterclass

This week saw the second of our new Masterclasses which aim to give children a different perspective on their academic subjects.

This time, the focus was on Maths and children became 'mathemagicians' by using Maths to predict the colour of a counter underneath somebody's hand and to predict which number someone was thinking of – with a bit of algebra and some multiplication tricks thrown in as well.

Led by our Head of Maths, Mrs Parker, the children thoroughly enjoyed using Maths in a different way and will hopefully be wowing their parents with their 'mathemagical' abilities.
