Form II Ancient Egyptians Day
Our Ancient Egyptians Day saw Form II dress up in wonderful costumes and attend a banquet with none other than Pharaoh Akhenaten and his wife, Nefertiti!
The children enjoyed trying out all sorts of traditional activities including carving soap, writing with ink on papyrus, baking bread, making perfume cones and sculpting canopic jars.
The day culminated in a banquet with the children taking on the roles of slaves, guests and the Pharaoh and Nefertiti. The guests drank from goblets and enjoyed performances of dances and plays, as well as the appearance of a wax toy crocodile!
