Pre-Prep Nativity Plays
Pre-Prep children got everyone in the festive mood this week with three delightful productions celebrating the Christmas nativity story.
Pre-Prep I took to the stage for a medley of carols and traditional songs, entitled Christmas Magic. It was wonderful to see them performing old favourites including Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Jingle Bells and When Santa got stuck up the Chimney, with such confidence.
Children in Pre-Prep II and Pre-Prep III followed with a traditional nativity play, The Inn Crowd. There were lots of smiling faces on stage as they sang songs, including hits from The Greatest Showman and The Beatles, AND remembered all their actions!
In a mix of old and new, Transition’s nativity, Christmas with the Aliens, saw a group of aliens (whose spaceship has broken down on Earth) join in a school nativity play. There were some cool dance moves, lots of high energy singing and an array of very bright alien costumes! After the nativity, all ends well when the humans mend the spaceship and the aliens depart to spread the message of Jesus Christ.
Congratulations to our Pre-Prep children and all the staff involved in working their magic with these productions, packed with songs, sparkling costumes and touching moments.
